   Claude Code Meter 1.0 — Installation

REQUIREMENTS
────────────
• macOS 14 Sonoma or later
• An active Claude Code account (any plan)

INSTALLATION
────────────
1. Drag ClaudeCodeMeter.app into the Applications folder
   (or use the "Applications" shortcut in this window)

2. Open the app from Applications or via Spotlight (⌘ Space)
   → If you see an "unverified developer" warning:
     go to System Settings › Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway"

3. Click the  icon in the menu bar (top-right corner)

4. In the panel that appears, click "Sign in with Claude.ai"
   → A login window opens with the official claude.ai website
   → Sign in with your credentials
   → The window closes automatically when done

5. After signing in you will see your usage limits:
   • Current session (5 hours)  — resets every 5 hours
   • Weekly (7 days)            — resets every week
   • Sonnet / Opus separately

DAILY USE
─────────
• The icon shows your highest current usage percentage
• Colors:  green (< 65%)  orange (65–84%)  red (≥ 85%)
• Data refreshes automatically every 5 minutes
• Click ↻ in the panel to force an immediate update

UNINSTALLATION
──────────────
1. Click the icon in the menu bar › "Quit"
2. Drag ClaudeCodeMeter.app to the Trash
3. Remove preferences (optional):
   rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/ClaudeCodeMeter
